Argentina WRC: Loeb says he is feeling no pressure

Sebastien Loeb says he is under no pressure to perform in Rally Argentina

Competing on gravel for the first time this year, the seven-time winner of this event admitted it took him some time to find the right feeling again on Wednesday's shakedown and qualifying stages.

"I haven't competed on gravel since Catalunya," he said, "and I did only one day of testing, so for sure I didn't do as much as I might have done.

"The feeling was quite strange with the car to begin with, but it's OK now."

Seb vs Seb: an epic battle resumes

Loeb is unbeaten on Rally Argentina since 2004, but says he will not be drawn into a fight with anybody unless he feels comfortable with his Citroen.

"I am competing here because we planned to do this from the start of the season," said Loeb, "and for sure I don't like not to win.

"If I feel well in the car then I will push, but there is no big pressure for me - it won't change my life if I don't win this rally.

"I'm here to have fun and if I get the feeling in the car and get into a fight then great, but if I don't, it's not a big drama."

Loeb's immediate pace in Argentina - with fastest time in practice and second quickest in qualifying - drew praise from his team-mate Dani Sordo.

The Spaniard said: "It's incredible the speed he comes back at, no testing or anything and his speed is straight there."
