Sebring 12 Hours: Klaus Graf fastest for Pickett on second test day

The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD topped the times on the second day of testing ahead of this weekend's Sebring 12 Hours in the hands of Klaus Graf

The German set the best time of the day aboard the car he shares with Lucas Luhr and Romain Dumas in the American Le Mans Series season opener.

Graf's best lap of 1m47.789s eclipsed Oliver Jarvis's mark in the 2012-specification Audi R18 e-tron quattro by seven tenths of a second.

Third fastest was the second Rebellion Racing Lola-Toyota B12/60 shared by Andrea Belicchi, Mathias Beche and Congfu 'Frankie' Cheng.

Jarvis, who is joined in his Audi by Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler, said: "My first experience of the track was last year, so to come back almost feels like a new experience with trying to learn it again.

"And it's the first time that I'll be racing the hybrid this weekend, so there are a lot of new experiences. But it's great to get a little bit of running ahead of the race weekend."

The second Audi, a 2013-spec e-tron quattro driven by Lucas di Grassi, Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen, only undertook a handful of laps in a session that the Joest squad was treating as a shakedown for the remainder of the meeting.

The two Level 5 Motorsports HPD ARX-03bs (pictured) led the times in the LMP2 class.

Bruno Senna jumped to the top of the timesheets in the ultra-competitive GT class with his last lap of the day aboard the lead Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

His 2m01.451s lap was four tenths quicker than the SRT Motorsports Viper GTS-R of Jonathan Bomarito, Kuno Wittmer and Tommy Kendall.
