Kevin Harvick linked to 2014 Stewart-Haas NASCAR Sprint Cup move

Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart have remained tight-lipped over a report that Harvick will join the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion's Stewart-Haas team from 2014.
According to ESPN, Harvick will leave Richard Childress Racing for SHR at the end of next season.
Harvick finished third in the Cup standings in 2010 and '11. He is winless so far this year, yet still made the Chase and is currently 11th in the standings.
The two-time Nationwide Series champion has enjoyed a close relationship with Stewart, who made several Nationwide appearances for Harvick's former KHI team - winning the series' Daytona season-opener for the squad on four occasions.
"Once I know what my future plans are, I will make sure everyone is brought up to speed," said Harvick in a statement in response to the report.
"But as of right now I am focused on finishing this season on a strong note, and continuing to build our programme going into the 2013 season at RCR with the ultimate goal of winning a championship."
Stewart also refused to confirm the report when quizzed at Phoenix on Friday, joking that he had actually signed Dale Earnhardt Jr.
"It's actually Dale Jr," Stewart said. "I'll tell you this: When we have something to tell you guys, we'll tell you.
"I've always said that, so you guys can throw darts and when we've got something to tell you that's different to what we've got going on, we'll obviously tell you."
Stewart-Haas currently fields Ryan Newman alongside Stewart, with Danica Patrick set to join them next year to take on her first full season at Cup level. Harvick has been mooted for a fourth entry rather than to replace any of the incumbents.
