Bahrain WEC: Audi duo quickest in final practice

Audi led the way in the final free practice session for Bahrain's World Endurance Championship round on Friday morning

The Le Mans-winning marque had shared the honours with Interlagos victor Toyota in Thursday's two sessions, but practice three delivered a one-two for Audi's pair of e-tron hybrids.

The #2 Allan McNish/Tom Kristensen car led the way on a 1m47.639s, 0.3 seconds ahead of championship leaders Andre Lotterer, Marcel Fassler and Benoit Treluyer in the #1.

The Toyota - driven by Nicolas Lapierre and Alex Wurz - was seven tenths of a second down in third.

Rebellion's #12 Lola-Toyota was the best of the non-factory LMP1 cars.

The #24 OAK Morgan led LMP2, while the Aston Martin and Larbre's #50 Corvette topped the two GTE divisions.
