F1 young driver test: Luiz Razia says it's too early to think about 2013

The Brazilian is currently second in the GP2 championship with two races to go in Singapore, having lost the points lead to Davide Valsecchi in the previous race at Monza.

Razia, who drove F1 machinery in testing last year, returned to the wheel of a grand prix car with Force India at Magny-Cours on Tuesday.

"Every time I get in a Formula 1 car I'm excited and this opportunity comes at the right time," Razia told AUTOSPORT.

"I've been doing very well in GP2 and there is still one round to go in Singapore and this test is just a bonus to the year."

The 23-year-old, who made his debut in GP2 in 2008, said he still has no definitive plans for next season.

"It's too early to say anything, but I'm trying hard," he said.

Razia, second quickest behind Ferrari's Jules Bianchi yesterday, admitted he was happy with his work during the day, even though he concedes a single session is not enough to get used to the cars.

"It was a really good day. Obviously there is so much to learn, with the DRS and the KERS. It takes a lot of time for the driver to become automatic to those things. I had some good runs. Obviously one day is not enough.

"It's a bit difficult for young drivers to have such a short time in the car, but I'm really happy with the results.

"It was one day. It was not a lot of laps as we had some issues, but I'm very pleased."
