Petter Solberg says Ford will push harder than ever in Finland and that World Rally title race isn't over

The factory Fiesta RS WRC drivers suffered a tough time in New Zealand last weekend, with Solberg taking third and his team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala seventh. With Citroen scoring another one-two at the front of the field, the British-based Ford team shipped more points to its French rival.

"The team is completely together in this," said Solberg. "Everybody is working so hard and we are positive that we have a fast car. It's about the small details now, but we are getting there and we will get there, I have no doubt. The team is doing everything it can, the determination and the passion is there to turn this around and we will do that."

Solberg refused to concede defeat to New Zealand winner Loeb, despite the Frenchman being 55 points ahead of him in the drivers' championship.

"Yes, Loeb is far in front, but we saw last year that he can retire two or three times in a row - this can happen - and then everything can happen again," said Solberg. "We are going to keep pushing to give him a fight to the end of the year."
