DTM - Lausitzring: And here's what happened at Lausitzring today, with Pascal Wehrlein converting pole to his maiden DTM win, but perhaps more importantly, Marco Wittmann took this year's title with two rounds to spare.

Race winner Pascal Wehrlein: “Amazing day, amazing weekend, amazing week. It was impressive, our pace in qualifying and the race. I could control the race.”
2014 DTM Champion Marco Wittmann: “To achieve this is something really special for me. I'm proud of it, and proud of my team. All the thanks BMW for that.”

ELMS - Paul Ricard: Ben Barker pitted from the lead of GTE a few minutes ago. Michael Wainwright is now in control of the #86 Gulf Racing Porsche 911, which is currently fifth in class and 7.457s behind leader Matt Griffin.
MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo says he picked the hard front tyre not because of wear concerns, but just because he had a better feeling with it on Saturday.
But he says in the race he knew on lap one that he wasn't going to be fast enough to beat Rossi today. He's a bit disappointed that was the case, but seems genuinely pleased for Yamaha.

MotoGP - Misano: The verdict from our delighted winner:
"I'm very happy, for sure," says Rossi, to no great surprise, "because it's sepcial here in Misano in front of all the crowd, my family and my friends.
"During practice it looked like my Yamaha worked very well, like we had a small advantage. We did a very good job during practice and yesterday and this morning I was very strong and knew I could fight for the victory.
"I knew I had to battle so I tried the maximum at the beginning. I did some pushing, but I knew if I could resist them I had a good pace.
"In the end, it's great. I couldn't want for more from today."

DTM - Lausitzring: Big embrace between Wittmann and BMW motorsport boss Jens Marquardt in pard ferme. Second title for BMW in the three years since returning to the series. And this one is with a homegrown BMW talent. Not bad at all.

FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Merhi's second place reduces Sainz's championship lead to just 16 points with four races to go. Sainz was right when he declared before the summer break that he didn't have this championship sealed...

MotoGP - Misano: The motorsport world is already expressing its delight for Rossi. Here are the thoughts of Mario Andretti:
"Fantastic win for you Valentino. You showed the 'kids' how it's done today."

MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo and Rossi (who hasn't had chance to take his helmet off yet) embrace in parc ferme.

DTM - Lausitzring: That's it! Wehrlein is the youngest ever winner. Vietoris second, Scheider third. Wittmann, meanwhile, is the 2014 DTM champion. Great season for the kid from Fürth.
DTM - Lausitzring:Brilliant stuff from Vietoris to force Scheider wide at the start of the last lap. That should seal second for the Mercedes man.
DTM - Lausitzring: The only excitement left in this race is whether Timo Scheider can nab second from Vietoris in the last couple of laps. He's right on his tail...
MotoGP - Misano: Fans head onto the track as Rossi cruises around on a delighted slowing-down lap. He stops and is mobbed.
MotoGP - Misano: And Espargaro's crash means Marquez DOES get one point, having passed Camier for 15th right at the end.
Crash
MotoGP - Misano: Aleix Espargaro crashes on the last lap while fighting with Bautista and Crutchlow.

FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Nato holds on to take his second win of the season from Merhi, who carves more points out of Sainz's lead with second place - just 0.4s adrift of the winner at the line.
Gasly completes the podium, while Rowland only just holds off van Buuren for fourth. Sainz comes home a surprising sixth.

ELMS - Paul Ricard: Wow. Didn't take long for Hirsch to return the Newblood car to the front of the field. He easily overtook Dolan at La Beausset thanks to running on newer tyres.

MotoGP - Misano: Rossi is about to start his last lap, as Marquez's slightly battered Honda lines up Laverty for an unfamiliar 17th.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Just a couple of laps left here and the top three are starting to spread out, with Gasly's charge seemingly being halted in third as he hit the dirty air from Merhi's car.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Hirsch rejoined the action behind Dolan, who currently leads by 4.572s in the #38 Jota Zytek-Nissan.
MotoGP - Misano: Doesn't look like points are on for Marquez. He'll get Laverty and potentially Leon Camier, but taking 15th from de Angelis looks like a step too far with just over three laps left.
DTM - Lausitzring: It's lap 44 of 52 here in Lausitz, which means both the race and the title fight are nearly over. Wehrlein is well and truly in control of the race, and Wittmann, well, he may as well pit now and start enjoying the first of what will surely be many Bavarian wheat beers.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Gasly is getting closer to Merhi, who seems to be dropping back from leader Nato. Could the Red Bull junior be on course for a late pass for second two days in a row?
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Ragues finally pits from the lead after what was an impressive stint. He hands the Newblood Morgan-Judd over to Garry Hirsch.
MotoGP - Misano: Still pretty close for third between Pedrosa and Dovizioso, but Iannone, Pol Espargaro and Smith have spread out behind them. Now there are five laps left.
Crutchlow is charging back up behind Bautista and Aleix Espargaro to make it a three-way fight for eighth again.
Marquez is 18th and chasing after Michael Laverty.

FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Sainz doesn't have the pace at the moment. Rather than challenging van Buuren for fifth, he's doing all he can to prevent Vaxiviere costing him another place.
Nato leads Merhi by one second, with Gasly 2.5 behind the Spaniard and catching at 0.5s per lap.

MotoGP - Misano: Crutchlow just slewed over the runoff while battling with Bautista for eighth. That's dropped the Brit to 10th behind Aleix Espargaro.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: And, having just taken third, Gonzalez pits. He remains in the #48 Murphy ORECA-Nissan.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: With all the stops completed, Nato leads Merhi. But Gasly in third is closing in.
It's a long way back to Rowland in fourth, while Sainz is sat behind fifth-placed van Buuren, hoping that Nato can do him a favour and prevent Merhi from taking another 25-point haul.
Seven mins +1 lap to go.

MotoGP - Misano: Sorry to cause extra jitters among Rossi fans, but when we said five laps to go a minute ago, we meant nine... Poor eyesight...
Now it's seven laps left and Rossi's lead is 2.7s.
Marquez is going to be up with Broc Parkes and Hector Barbera next time around. They may well think they're being lapped...
