Summary

Status: Stopped
WRC - Italy Beautiful blue skies above the Olbia service park this morning. It's 29 degrees already.
That concludes the inaugural weekend of AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live. Thank you all for your company over three thrilling days of motorsport.

Race Centre Live returns next weekend to cover the British Touring Car Championship at Oulton Park, World Touring Cars at Moscow Raceway, the Le Mans 24 Hours test day, IndyCar at Texas Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Pocono and Superstars in Slovakia.
IndyCar - Detroit - race two results: 1 Simon Pagenaud; 2 James Jakes; 3 Mike Conway; 4 Scott Dixon; 5 Dario Franchitti; 6 Marco Andretti; 7 Charlie Kimball; 8 Helio Castroneves; 9 Graham Rahal; 10 Sebastian Saavedra.
Acropolis Rally: But there has been one change to the results. Martin Prokop and his Stohl-run Czech National team had been adamant that an incorrect time was given for the penultimate stage.

This has now been rectified, moving Prokop up to seventh and demoting Mikko Hirvonen to eighth.
IndyCar - Detroit: Pagenaud is 3.1s ahead of Jakes, who in turn is 1.5s ahead of Conway. The RLL driver still has five hits of Push to Pass left, whereas Conway only has one.
IndyCar - Detroit: Jakes pits from the lead, and rejoins in second behind Pagenaud. It appears that our 'Dario/Conway lead battle' declaration was a little premature ...
IndyCar - Detroit: Wow. Pagenaud pits from the lead - and rejoins ahead of the Dario/Conway battle for third, which is effectively the battle for the lead. Jakes, who inherited the lead when Pagenaud stopped, is out of sequence and has to pit shortly.
IndyCar -Detroit: Three-wide battle for sixth between Vautier, Rahal and Kimball - who has pitted - for P6. Good stuff.

Pagenaud is the current leader.
IndyCar - Detroit: Conway loses second to Pagenaud, and immediately pits to get rid of the red tyres. Pagenaud closing on leader Kimball.
IndyCar - Detroit: Conway took the lead as a couple of others pitted around him, but his efforts to disappear up the road again have been thwarted by...Charlie Kimball. Not only that, but Kimball has just driven around him and taken the lead. Conway's now under pressure from Pagenaud.
Indycar - Detroit: We've gone almost an entire lap without anyone hitting anything, which on today's form is not something to be taken for granted.

Sebastien Bourdais has been issued a drive-through for avoidable contact.
IndyCar - Detroit: Race control has confirmed the running order for the restart. The top 10: Kanaan, Vautier, Franchitti, Bourdais, Andretti, Kimball, Dixon, Conway, Pagenaud and Rahal.
IndyCar - Detroit: Less than halfway into the race, we've had six cautions, just 14 laps under green, and there are only 13 guys still on the lead lap.

The good news is that quite a lot of the cars that have been damaged will get back out. Takuma Sato is not among them though, with the team having confirmed that his car is done for the day.
Tony Stewart

Tony Stewart

NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Tony Stewart defeated Juan Pablo Montoya in a spectacular finish - after Jimmie Johnson was penalised for a controversial restart.

Full race report
IndyCar - Detroit: Will Power:

"Bourdais got in the back of me. But that's racing, and hopefully the guys will get the car back out there, because there are a lot of cars out so we could get some points. But Bourdais once was a champ and now he's a chump"
IndyCar - Detroit: Still under the sixth caution of the race, and the news is that Scott Dixon has jumped Conway in the pits. Current leader is Kanaan.

We've also just seen a very, very, very unhappy Will Power rip his gloves off and throw them at Bourdais, who is still in his car.
IndyCar - Detroit: Multi-car crash on the restart. Power was turned around at the exit of Turn 1, and there was a pile-up behind him as others tried to react.

It looks like someone - either Vautier or Bourdais - tagged the rear of Power, which set the whole thing off. Viso, Wilson, Carpenter, Briscoe and Tagliani are out, and others, including Hinchcliffe and Saavedra, have damage.
IndyCar - Detroit: Meanwhile, Andretti Autosport is repairing Hunter-Reay's car and is optimistic that it can get him back out.
IndyCar - Detroit: Still under caution, and the current top five is Conway, Dixon, Franchitti, Kanaan and Vautier.
IndyCar - Detroit: We've just heard from a distraught AJ Allmendinger.

"I was trying not to get sucked into anything and made a mistake again. I don’t know what to say. I apologise to Roger [Penske] and everybody at Team Penske. It's embarrassing for me. I don’t know where to go from here. I’m heartbroken; I don't even know what to say anymore. Hopefully Helio or Will can go and win this thing. I feel so lucky that Roger Penske believes in me, and this is not how I want to repay him."
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover - results: 1 Stewart; 2 Montoya; 3 Gordon; 4 Kyle Busch; 5 Keselowski; 6 Bowyer; 7 Logano; 8 Harvick; 9 Martin; 10 Earnhardt.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Tony Stewart wins, nearly a year after his last Cup triumph at Daytona.

Juan Pablo Montoya fends off Jeff Gordon for second.
IndyCar - Detroit: PEOPLE, STOP HITTING THINGS. The restart lasted three corners before Takuma Sato was bumped by Tristan Vautier and put into the wall.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Stewart squeezes around the outside and takes the lead from Montoya with two laps left.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Montoya has Stewart all over the back of him with five laps left.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Stewart is closing in on Montoya with eight laps to go.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Johnson takes a drive-through penalty, chance of victory gone.

Montoya leads from Stewart with 14 laps to go!
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Controversy at the restart: Johnson blasts into the lead, NASCAR says he jumped the start and must return the position. Johnson says it was just that Montoya's start was awful.
IndyCar - Detroit: Yellow for debris, which is probably fair enough - half of Viso's front wing is still on the track, as are assorted bits of Hunter-Reay's car.

Conway's lead was more than 7.0s when the flag came out. Power has taken advantage of the caution to pit and swap his red tyres for black ones.

Elsewhere, Josef Newgarden is five laps down and counting while his team works to repair damage caused by a hit to the rear earlier on.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Everyone dives for the pits and Juan Pablo Montoya emerges in the lead.

The top six - Montoya, Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart, Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch - just took two tyres. Everyone behind, headed by Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Mark Martin, took four.
IndyCar - Detroit: It appears to be game over for Ryan Hunter-Reay, who clips the inside wall at Turn 7 and shoots straight into the barrier at Turn 8. The American, who'd taken third from Pagenaud a short time beforehand, drags the car back to the pits.

The race is still green, and on lap 19 Conway leads by 4.6s.

Blancpain - Silverstone: Aston Martin Racing dominated the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series earlier. Darren Turner, Frederic Makowiecki and Stefan Mucke eased to victory in the factory-entered V12 Vantage. Now that really was the perfect preparation for the Spa 24 Hours team principal John Gaw was after!

Blancpain standings after 2 of 5 rounds:

1 Kessel Racing 33
2 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT #13 27
3 Aston Martin Racing 25
4 ART Grand Prix 18
5 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT #1 18

Full Blancpain statistics available on FORIX
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Denny Hamlin slides into the wall out of Turn 1. Possibly due to a right front tyre going down. Yellow with 23 laps to go.
IndyCar - Detroit: Back underway. EJ Viso has damaged his front in a clash with Helio Castroneves, but we're still under green. Up at the front, Conway has shot off into the distance again and is 2.7 ahead of Power.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Jimmie Johnson is reporting oversteer but is nearly four seconds ahead as Juan Pablo Montoya and Kyle Busch battle for second.
Marc Marquez

Marc Marquez

MotoGP - Mugello: Marc Marquez's Mugello weekend featured three practice crashes and a fall when second in the closing stages of the race. But he shrugged it off as a flurry of rookie errors.

"If I'm honest, I made a mistake. We cannot forget that this is my first year. This can happen and I need to learn and be better for the next race.

"[Before the crash] I was better than we expected. My rhythm was quite good and I followed Dani and Jorge [Lorenzo] in the beginning. I tried to attack a little bit because I was faster than Dani [Pedrosa]."
IndyCar - Detroit: Just as we were about to tell you about the restart, we're back under yellows. Ed Carpenter got into the back of Alex Tagliani and knocked the Canadian against the wall. Both are in the pits having broken wings replaced.

In the race, Power (P2), Pagenaud (P3) and Briscoe (P16) are the only drivers on the red tyres.
NASCAR Sprint Cup - Dover: Kurt Busch pits from second. There was no chance of him making it to the flag without a lot of yellows.
IndyCar - Detroit: Simona de Silvestro:

"It was quite a hard hit because there's no tyre [barrier] there. I'm not sure what happened - went to turn, and it just wouldn't turn and went straight into the wall "
