Fernando Alonso and Ferrari score an away win, beating both Red Bulls, while McLaren salvage fourth with Hamilton, but problems in the pits today will provide the hard luck stories - particularly for Vettel and Button.

Paul di Resta was another to suffer in the pits after a solid first half of the race, while minor incidents put paid to Kobayashi and Schumacher's efforts to score points. Sergio Perez deserves a mention after chasing Nico Rosberg hard for 52 laps, and will now know every detail of that Mercedes' rear wing.

There is a great atmosphere at Silverstone as the sizable crowd flood onto the pit straight and reflect on another great race.
Red Bull hold a comprehensive lead of the constructors' race, with a boosted 110 points over McLaren and Ferrari still well back in third.
Vettel now has an 80-point lead in the standings over Webber, with Alonso now closing in, a further 12 points behind.
Christian Horner defends his Red Bull team orders, telling the BBC that Vettel had a KERS issue.
The photocall is brief and the drivers quickly move away from the podium to reflect on an action-packed race.
The champagne sprays on the podium and Alonso takes a well-deserved drink, having defeated the Red Bull duo.
Webber's chase was called off in the closing laps but the Australian looks pleased with another podium finish.
Sebastian Vettel receives his award for second place. He raises it above his head but clearly looks disappointed after that pitstop issue.
Team boss Stefano Domenicali is on hand to collect the prize for Ferrari. He must be relived at Ferrari's first win in 11 races.
Alonso smiles and kisses the award as he receives the winning trophy from Prince Harry.
That is followed by the Italian national anthem for this afternoon's winning constructor - Ferrari.
The top three drivers step out onto the podium and the Spanish national anthem rings out for today's winner - Fernando Alonso.
Five drivers retired from today's race:

Jenson Button was forced out when his front left tyre wasn't put on correctly at his final stop, Buemi retired after a shove from di Resta with a flailing left rear tyre that destroyed the bodywork.

Kobayashi retired with overheating problems and both Lotus entries fell by the wayside in the opening stint of the race.
No such problem for Alonso, as he reflects on his first victory since Korea last year.
The media spotlight is sure to be on Red Bull after the race, with Christian Horner calling off Webber's chase of his team-mate at the end.
Daniel Ricciardo finishes his first grand prix in 19th, three laps down.
D'Ambrosio wound up 17th. Liuzzi (18th) closed the gap down to 7.7s over the final laps.
Alonso is absolutely delighted on the radio to his team after a fine win this afternoon.
Out of the points, Sutil finished 11th with Petrov 12th, Barrichello 13th, Maldonado 14th, di Resta 15th and Glock in 16th.
Heidfeld claims eighth after a late-race battle with Schumacher and Alguersuari claims the final point for Toro Rosso.
Replays show Massa was ahead into Vale but Hamilton clatters into the Feraari and takes the inside line into the final corner to grab fourth
Rosberg held off Perez and in fact drew away from the Sauber over the final laps to take sixth. Perez finished a fine seventh.
Hamilton fought strongly from 10th on the grid and hold off Massa with some likely controversial moves at the flag.
Webber fights back to third, giving his team-mate a very close chase in the closing stages.
Vettel bolsters his championship lead with another top-two finish, but was on course to victory before his bungled pitstop.
The order finally comes from team boss Christian Horner and Webber is told to maintain the gap.
An outstanding drive from the Spaniard as he finally scores the first Ferrari win of the season.
Lap 52: Webber is on Vettel's gearbox and he makes a move into Copse ...
Lap 52: Hamilton just holds off Massa into the DRS zone for the final time.
Lap 52: Webber is clocked at just 0.5s behind Vettel and he may have a shot at Vettel on the last lap.
Lap 52: Massa is all over the gearbox of Hamilton as they head into the final lap.
Lap 52: Webber now has a go at Vettel for second but the German holds him off this time.
Lap 51: Massa is now just 1.7s behind Hamilton as a battle begins for fourth.
Lap 51: Webber continues to close in on his team-mate and is just one second behind Vettel, while Alonso sails away up front.
Lap 51: Further up the road, Webber has cut the deficit to his team-mate Vettel down to two seconds.
Lap 50: Massa posts his quickest lap of the race so far - 1m35.474s and has the gap down to 4.3s.
Lap 50: Massa continues to charge after Hamilton and may get up to the back of the British driver on the final lap.
