Michael Schumacher has made good use of the Mercedes upgrades to finish the day on top with the fastest time at Barcelona so far

Rosberg pits as Alonso comes out. Button also stopped after a five-lap run and returned to the track right away
On why Heidfeld was in the pits for so long, Renault says the team was "sorting something out".
