Bobbi, Longin sign for Triple H in GT1

Former FIA GT champion Matteo Bobbi will race for the Triple H Maserati team alongside Corvette convert Bert Longin in the new GT1 World Championship

Bobbi has made several appearances for multiple champion squad Vitaphone - which Altfrid Heger's Triple H squad will run as a satellite to - in recent years, and also raced in the Le Mans Series with Racing Box's LMP2 car last season. He took the FIA GT title in 2003, driving alongside Thomas Biagi in a Scuderia Italia Ferrari.

Long-time FIA GT frontrunner Longin moves across to the Maserati fold after spending recent seasons with the Selleslagh and Carsport Corvette squads.

"I have never worked in more professional conditions than these," Longin said after his first test with Triple H. "I also discovered that family atmosphere whereby everyone goes through hell for each another. And that's close to my heart.

"With Matteo Bobbi as my team-mate, you know that we'll be a fast team. I am looking forward to the start of the first race together."
