De Orleans praises team effort
Racing Engineering team boss Alfonso de Orleans has praised the efforts of his team after they followed up Ernesto Viso's horrific crash with a victory for Javier Villa
The team were relieved to hear that Viso was not injured in his accident during Saturday's race, and they were then able to celebrate their first victory for nearly two years as Javier Villa became the youngest GP2 winner during Sunday's sprint race.
"I want to thank the whole team for their great work, especially following Viso's accident on Saturday," said de Orleans.
"I'm absolutely ecstatic. Ernesto is getting on well, so there are only reasons to enjoy the celebrations."
De Orleans was also full of praise for Villa, who scored his maiden victory in the category at the age of 19.
"Javi has done a great job showing his immense talent and he's become the youngest winner at this level, even younger than Fernando Alonso was when he won in F3000.
"Being just 19 years old and already he has taken a podium and a victory, from now on the only way is up for him."
