Extreme Sports adds Fogarty, Heinemeier Hansson to 2015 line-up
Two-time Grand-Am title winner Jon Fogarty and newly-crowned GTE-Am World Endurance champion David Heinemeier Hansson have completed Extreme Speed Motorsports' LMP2 driver line-up for 2015
Fogarty and Heinemeier Hansson will line up in ESM's pair of new HPD-Honda ARX-04b LMP2s in the WEC and the four long-distance races that make up the United SportsCar Championship's North American Endurance Cup.
Fogarty will drive together with Ed Brown and Johannes van Overbeek, with whom he was paired in the 2005 American Le Mans Series at Flying Lizard Motorsorts Porsche team, while Heinemeier Hansson will share with Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel.
Team boss Sharp said: "We've competed against Jon for years and we know he is a team player who has proven he is extremely quick, so I'm certain he will blend in perfectly with Ed and Johannes.
"David has had great success in the WEC over the last couple of seasons both in LMP2 [in which he finished runner-up in the WEC in 2013] and GTE."
