Priaulx tops first session at Brno
Andy Priaulx went quickest in the first World Touring Car free practice session at Brno this morning, as BMW locked out the first five places with a half-second cushion over the quickest of the SEATs
The three-time world champion was the only driver to break into the 2m21s during the half hour session, with the circuit still wet from heavy rain overnight and earlier this morning.
Alex Zanardi was second fastest in the session, despite a spin mid-way through, ahead of Schnitzer BMW team-mates Augusto Farfus and Jorg Muller. Stefano D'Aste completed the top five for BMW in his independent 320si.
Rickard Rydell was the best of the SEATs in sixth place, just ahead of Nicola Larini in the first Chevrolet. Felix Porteiro was eighth quickest, with SEAT team-mates Jordi Gene and Tiago Monteiro completing the top 10.
Championship leader Yvan Muller was only 15th fastest in the last of the factory Leons.
