Menu leads first Brno practice

Alain Menu went fastest in this weekend's opening World Touring Car practice session at Brno

The Chevrolet driver finished the half-hour session two tenths clear of SEAT's Gabriele Tarquini, with his RML team-mate Rob Huff the only other driver within half a second.

Colin Turkington is set to continue his impressive run since joining the series, setting the fourth quickest time this morning and best of the BMWs.

The SEATs of Jordi Gene and Norbert Michelisz sandwiched Andy Priaulx's BMW, while the BMWs of Stefano D'Aste, Augusto Farfus and Sergio Hernandez completed the top 10.

Championship leader Yvan Muller was just 16th in his Chevrolet, while Fabio Fabiani was 22nd on his return to the series.
