Chevrolet dominates second practice
Chevrolet has laid down a marker ahead of this afternoon's World Touring Car Championship qualifying sessions at Zolder by locking out the top three places in second practice
Reingning champion Yvan Muller took the honours with a 1m39.190s but there was little to split the Frenchman from team-mates Rob Huff and Alain Menu, who both finished within 0.2 seconds of the lead time.
SUNRED's Michel Nykjaer was again best of the rest in his SEAT; the Dane's 1m35.548s effort leaving him just clear of Darryl O'Young's Bamboo-Engineering Chevrolet Cruze.
The session passed almost entirely without incident; the sole piece of drama coming when Fabio Fabiani found himself going into the first corner backwards after misjudging his braking point midway through the session. The Italian just managed to stop his Proteam BMW before it reached the gravel and he was able to continue unscathed.
