Sebastien Loeb says adding extra WRC events 'not the plan'
Sebastien Loeb insists the chances of him competing in any more World Rally Championship rounds beyond France this season are increasingly remote
The outgoing world champion's home event is the final instalment of his planned four-rally programme with Citroen this season.
Citroen team principal Yves Matton however admitted he would be talking to Loeb - the only non-Volkswagen man to win this year - following another disappointing WRC event for the team in Sardinia last month.
The World Rally champion outfit is now 46 points adrift of VW, the WRC's dominant force this season.
Loeb said: "It's not the plan for me to compete on any more rallies than France now.
"We didn't talk about it, but I don't think it will be possible because I am so busy with other things in the second half of the season."
Loeb recently smashed the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record with Peugeot, after months of preparation work.
He will also spearhead Citroen's new World Touring Car programme, which is due to start testing in the coming weeks.
