Provera relies on Burns

Peugeot boss Corrado Provera has still to decide whether team orders will be implemented on next week's Rally Great Britain, according to a story in this week's AUTOSPORT Magazine

The Italian has always stated his dislike for manipulating results, but if Marcus Gronholm and Harri Rovanpera were both lying ahead of title contender Richard Burns, it would be in the Englishman's interests if they allowed him to pass.

"I don't think we'll have to ask anybody to help Richard," said Provera. "He will be able to do the job by himself. If the situation does arise then we will look at it then."

Gronholm says he is desperate to secure a win in Wales. The Finn has pinpointed his home event as the rally where his title hopes were lost: "We had a few reliability problems this year, but it was actually on the 1000 Lakes - where we lost a wheel - that we lost this fight.

"When you're not in the middle of the fight for the championship, it's hard to stay as sharp as you need to be to win rallies."
