Lammers optimistic for new season

Jan Lammers is hoping that Racing for Holland will be more competitive in 2007 thanks to a closer relationship with Dome

The Dutch squad have raced Dome cars at Le Mans since 2001, and they will race the latest factory chassis from the manufacturer at Le Mans and in the LMS this year.

"We have intensified our relationship with Dome," said Lammers. "We will now have a much more sound commercial and financial future.

"We should also be able to build on our new relationship and improve our competitiveness."

Lammers will share the Dome S101.5 in the LMP1 class with Jeroen Bleekemolen and David Hart.

"I always see it as our responsibility to bring out the best in our drivers," said Lammers. "That includes myself and I look forward to working on it again.

"All year round I visualise myself going into one of the corners at Le Mans," he added. "That is simply the effect it has on me, and I am privileged to still have that drive and passion."
