Tomas Enge believes the fight for GT1 class honours at this year's Le Mans 24 Hours will be one of survival.
Young Driver Aston Martin racer Enge qualified on pole for this weekend's race, recording a time of 3m55.025s, with the #70 Marc VDS and #60 Matech Fords both within 0.6 seconds.
In recent years, the GT1 battle has been a flat-out fight between the works Chevrolet and Aston Martin outfits, but Enge expects the battle of the new-era GT1s to be one of preserving the cars.
"We are pretty happy with our reliability, but I'm still more concerned about problems than any particular rival," he told AUTOSPORT. "In our class it will be about who doesn't hit problems - they will win.
"There are no factory teams, so it won't be about 15 hours of flat-out like it was with Prodrive and Chevrolet."
