Two more years for R Kelly, Tander
Toll HSV Dealer Team drivers Rick Kelly and Garth Tander will drive for the team for the next two years, the team has confirmed
2006 V8 Supercar champion Kelly has signed on for two more years, while teammate Tander has extended his existing deal by a year to cover the 2008 season.
The pair, who between them comfortably scored more points than any other team last season on the way to Kelly's title and Tander's fourth place finish, will drive together for the third successive season this year.
"It is great to know I will be here for two more years," said Kelly. "Toll HSV has shown they are one of the best teams of the business, not just in terms of track speed and strategy, but also just getting along together. It is like going racing with mates."
Teammate Tander made it clear he is happy to stay with the team, as he hopes to duplicate his teammate's recent success of a V8 Supercar championship: "I came here because I knew this team was capable of running at the front, and nothing that has happening in the past two seasons has changed my mind."
"We all work well together - this is a team in every sense. I am very happy here, but more importantly, I know that I have a great opportunity to win a championship with these guys."
