Ryan Briscoe to return to Gold Coast 600 with Holden Racing Team
Ryan Briscoe will join his Penske IndyCar team-mate Will Power in returning to V8 Supercars for the Gold Coast 600 at Surfers Paradise in October

The Australian drove for the Holden Racing Team in the event - at which squads must run one 'international' driver alongside their regular competitors - last year, and is returning to the outfit for another attempt.
"I have fond memories of my IndyCar win at Surfers Paradise in 2008 and to go back as part of the Holden Racing Team last year was great," said Briscoe.
"The international field is shaping up to be really competitive, and with an international driver in each car the field will become even tighter."
Briscoe, who took a best finish of seventh with Will Davison in race two last year, is expected to share Garth Tander's Commodore.
American GT veteran Boris Said has also confirmed his return to V8s for the Surfers Paradise event. Said, most recently a winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Montreal last year, will partner Steve Owen in a Paul Morris Motorsport Holden.
Among the other international drivers confirmed for the event so far are Indianapolis 500 polesitter Alex Tagliani, three-time World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx and BMW GT regulars Dirk Muller and Joey Hand.
