Lucas di Grassi and Marc Lieb join Gold Coast 600 line-up

Lucas di Grassi and Marc Lieb are the latest international drivers to sign up for V8 Supercars' Gold Coast 600 event

Both have signed for the Tekno Autosports Holden squad, which is owned by Jonathon Webb.

Di Grassi, who raced for Audi at last weekend's World Endurance Championship round at Interlagos, is also the development driver for both Pirelli's Formula 1 tyre programme and the FIA's new Formula E series.

The Brazilian, who will be making his V8 debut, will partner Webb at Surfers Paradise.

Lieb is a Porsche factory driver of almost a decade and a GT2/GTE champion in FIA GTs, the American and European Le Mans Series. He has also won the Nurburgring and Spa 24 Hour races.

He made his series debut at last year's event, sharing a Stone Brothers Ford with Alex Davison. This time he will share a car with Michael Patrizi.

Tekno team manager Bruce Jenkins said: "Both Marc and Lucas bring a wealth of knowledge, technical skills and experience to Tekno's endurance team.

"Marc's performance on track last year was impressive; Jonathon and Marc will be one of the pairs to watch.

"Lucas's background, demonstrated by his formidable result this past weekend for Audi in Brazil, will guarantee car 91 will be competitive."
