Former grand prix driver Mark Blundell intends to extend his return to racing over several more events this season.
The Briton has already contested the opening two Grand-Am events with the United Autosports/Michael Shank Racing partnership and is optimistic that this deal can be expanded over more of the season.
He is committed to racing in the Spa 24 Hours with United as well.
But in a statement this morning, Blundell said he was also keen to add the Nurburgring 24 Hours, Bathurst 1000kms and IndyCar's Las Vegas finale - with its $5 million guest winner bonus - to his calendar if possible.
"Coming back to racing last year in the 24 Hours of Spa reignited the fire in my belly and now I'm looking forward to competing in a selection of races this year and beyond," he said.
