Loeb joins 2010 RoC line-up

World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb will compete in this year's Race of Champions, organisers announced on Monday

The six-time WRC champion will be joining four-time F1 champion Alain Prost in team France in the Nations Cup.

Loeb had already won the Nations Cup back in 2004 alongside Jean Alesi.

"What makes The Race of Champions exciting is that it's the only event where you have to compete against drivers from different disciplines," said Loeb.

"You also have to adapt very quickly to each type of car and it's just a question of feeling. I'm delighted to be racing with Alain, who is a driver I admire for what he has achieved in his career.

"I think we make up a good Team France so I'm sure we can work well together in the ROC Nations Cup. I know teams like Germany are always strong but for sure we'll try everything to win it."

The 2010 Race of Champions will be held at Dusseldorf's ESPRIT arena on November 27-28.
