Billy Monger, who returned to racing in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship this season less than a year after becoming a double amputee, appears on the latest Autosport Podcast

Autosport Podcast: Monger's remarkable racing return in British F3

The 19-year-old is currently seventh in the standings and has had two podium finishes, but has his sights set on a breakthrough victory during the final six races of the season.

Monger joins British F3 correspondent Stefan Mackley and podcast host Edd Straw to discuss in depth his successful return to racing.

As well as talking through his season with Carlin, Monger explains how his car has been adapted so he can drive it following the injuries he suffered in a British Formula 4 Championship crash at Donington Park in April 2017.

Monger also explains his single-seater ambitions, which as for all young drivers will be dependent on being able to raise sufficient budget.
