Johnny Sauter won a rain-shortened SBC 250 at the Milwaukee Mile on Saturday night

Sauter Wins in Milwaukee

Sauter won a race shortened by 50 laps from its original 250 lap distance after rain intervened, despite a penalty for rough driving when he made contact with Tony Raines while lapping him around half distance.

A second place finish for Martin Truex Jr moved him into the lead of the championship standings, as former leader Reed Sorenson finished a lap down in twelfth place. However Sorenson is only seven points behind Truex.

Paul Menard, JJ Yeley and David Stremme rounded out the top five.
