Chicagoland NASCAR: Rain gives Stewart-Haas' Kevin Harvick pole
Kevin Harvick will start Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Chicagoland Speedway from pole after qualifying was cancelled
Severe rainstorms prevented the session from being started and as a result the grid for the first Chase event of 2015 will be based on Friday's earlier practice times.
That means Stewart-Haas Racing driver Harvick, who clocked a best time of 28.675 seconds on the 1.5-mile oval during practice, starts from pole ahead of Penske's Joey Logano.
Fellow Chase drivers Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex Jr make up the second row, ahead of Austin Dillon.
Early Chase leaders Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth will start from 11th, seventh and 12th respectively.
