Last season's Formula 2 runner-up Christopher Zanella has announced that he will return to a series for another shot at the title in 2012.
In his first year in F2 after moving up from Formula 3, Zanella took two victories as he finished as champion Mirko Bortolotti's nearest rival.
The 22-year-old from Switzerland admitted that coming back to F2 for a second attempt meant he could not afford to miss out on the title this season.
"It's going to be really tough though as I finished second last year so I have to win this season," Zanella acknowledged.
"I have an advantage over some of the drivers because I have more experience but I still have to adapt to the new tyres and brakes of the upgraded F2 car."
