Camilo Zurcher has been stripped of his maiden International Superstars Series win, handing victory to debutant Christian Klien.
Romeo Ferraris Mercedes driver Zurcher was first across the line in race two at the Hungaroring on Sunday, but was handed a 25-second penalty for nudging polesitter Domenico Ferlito (Ferlito Jaguar) off the road on the opening lap of the race.
The amended results see Zurcher slot into seventh place, between Stefano Gabellini's Dinamic BMW and Paolo Meloni's W&D Racing BMW.
The penalty also means that Klien is the race winner for race two, with Tonio Liuzzi (CAAL Racing Mercedes) and Thomas Biagi (Dinamic BMW) awarded second and third respectively.
The Hungaroring round was Klien's first in a Superstars car, the ex-Red Bull Racing Formula 1 driver taking over the Swiss Team Maserati previously driven by Johnny Herbert and Mika Salo.
