Summary

Status: Stopped
That's it for our live coverage of the incredible Austrian Grand Prix, which proved that MotoGP always manages to be amazing, even when there isn't a thrilling title fight.
Dovizioso: "When I arrive there [last corner] I did not feel I can enter in that corner because I can't brake in the same place as Marc. But it was the last corner. I had to try, I wanted it. If I arrive too long, I can finish second easy. I feel so strong in that moment, it is something in the past I always think about but I did something crazy and sometimes it works. I am so happy for all the people working so hard for Ducati. For Luca."
Marquez: "Happy because today we did a big mistake with the rear tyre and immediately I saw when I go out, all soft tyres had better grip and even the consistency in the end. Anyway I try because I am Marc and I need to try. Happy because this second place, of course miss the last corner, but was sliding a lot the rear. Anyway Dovi did an incredible job, at the moment we are leading by 58 points so continue on the same way."
Quartararo: "Was an incredible race because we choose the soft tyre and was not easy for us because I still don't have the experience of adjusting to the tyre. I manage really well even when I was leading, I really try to not overheat the tyre and when Valentino was at 0.4s, I push and push until I have a two-second gap and then I say okay, now I stay between 1.7s and 2s and I make a good race. Was a tough decision to take the soft tyre and another podium."
Marquez may be beaten today but he is still yet to finish a race outside of the top two this year. His lead over Dovizioso in the championship is still a sizeable 58 points.
Something happened to Iannone, he was briefly seen running slowly in the end, and he finished a lap down.
