Lorenzo beats Marquez is late battle
 
Crutchlow was fourth, followed by Petrucci, Rossi, Pedrosa, Rins, Zarco, Bautista, Rabat, Vinales, Iannone, Smith, Nakagami.

Syahrin, EsA, Miller, Morbidelli, Redding, Abraham, Luthi missed the points. Simeon was the only DNF.
Jorge Lorenzo wins in Austria! Marc Marquez takes second to extend his championship lead, Andrea Dovizioso completes the podium. What a race!
Marquez tried again at Turn 3, but Lorenzo got the drive on the outside and holds the lead!
Lorenzo leads into Turn 1, almost making contact on the straight.
Here we go. It's Marquez vs Lorenzo for glory in Austria. One laps to go!
Marquez retaliates at Turn 3. Lorenzo will have to do it all over again if he wants victory here today.
Lorenzo scythes past Marquez at Turn 9. That was big and bold. Two laps to go.
Lorenzo has gone wide at Turn 3 and Marquez leads again. Three laps to go.
Four laps to go, Marquez tucks into Lorenzo's slipstream but cannot do anything to usurp the speed of that Desmosedici.
Dovi lost six tenths through the final sectors. Marquez, meanwhile, closes up on Lorenzo under braking for Turn 4.
Six laps to go and Dovi is 1.1s adrift of Marquez. His chances look over.
Lorenzo is struggling to run the pace of the top two. He is a second off of Lorenzo now.
Petrucci has been handed a track limits warning. Numerous riders in Moto2 had to surrender positions for similar offences. The Italian, fifth at present, needs to be careful. Seven laps to go.
Dovizioso has regrouped and is on Marquez's tail. Lorenzo has a slight lead of just a couple of tenths.
 
What can Lorenzo do now? He has the soft rear, can he make a crucial break. That's how Andrea Iannone won here back in 2016.
Lorenzo pounces at Turn 9. Lorenzo leads with nine laps to go.
Marquez and Lorenzo almost rub at Turn 3, Marquez leads again. This is great racing.
10 laps to go and Lorenzo leads, Dovizioso runs wide at T1 as he almost torpedoed Marquez.
Three tenths cover the top three and Marquez could not really build up an advantage despite Lorenzo's error.
Lorenzo has gone wide at Turn 3 as he ran in hot, but Dovizioso could not capitalise.
11 laps to go, Lorenzo three tenths quicker than Marquez last time around. The gap just over a tenth.
The Ducatis are gaining on Marquez through sector three. This is fascinating.
Marquez's lead back up to seven tenths. Dovizioso still struggling to find a way through on his teammate.
Crutchlow still holds fourth. Petrucci, Rins, Rabat, Rossi, Pedrosa, EsA, Zarco, Bautista, Vinales, Iannone, Smith complete the points.
Marquez has just taken a tenth back from the Ducati pair. 13 laps to go here at the Red Bull Ring.
Marquez did go for the medium front tyre. This is a hard circuit on brakes, and we know the Honda does work the front tyre really hard.
15 laps remaining and the gap is down to half a second. Is Marquez struggling, or is this just tactics from the Honda rider?
Pensive faces in the Ducati garage. Marquez only 0.6s ahead now.
This has shades of the Spanish Grand Prix about it, and we know how that ended. Surely Ducati has to react here and avoid a repeat?
You feel Lorenzo is perhaps holding Dovizioso up here. This is working into Marquez's hands. Do Ducati perhaps offer a dashboard message to Lorenzo now?
Simeon has crashed at Turn 9.
Lorenzo has cut Marquez's lead to seven tenths. Laptimes now identical between the top three. Is this the point of the race where Ducati come alive? 17 laps remaining.
The Ducati duo were a fraction quicker than Marquez last time around.
Iannone ran on at Turn 3 last time around. That is what has promoted Vinales. Iannone back to 17th.
Rossi has taken eighth once more from Espargaro. Vinales in the points now in 15th.
Marquez is able to open up his gap through the third sector. Dovizioso piles the pressure on Lorenzo now onto lap 10.
Marquez is now a second clear as we start lap nine. This is impressive. The Ducatis needs to respond now if they want to stop the Honda rider's charge.
