Summary

Status: Stopped
So, a big win for Dovizioso and Ducati that will breathe life back into their campaign - especially ahead of what should be another good track for the Desmosedici bike.

But Marquez won't mind - in the grand scheme of things, this race will have brought him closer to a fifth MotoGP crown.

See you next weekend as MotoGP tackles the Red Bull Ring.
Standings (top 10): 1 Marquez, 181; 2 Rossi, 132; 3 Dovizioso, 113; 4 Vinales, 109; 5 Lorenzo, 105, 6 Zarco, 97; 7 Petrucci, 94; 8 Crutchlow, 90, 9 Iannone, 81; 10 Miller, 61.
Dovizioso: "Wow, what a weekend. I really didn't expect. I expected to be fast, not like this.

"Pole position, and a really perfect race, because everybody struggling with the rear tyre, everybody have to ride very smoothly, and I did everything perfect. Jorge was there, Marc was there, but I had the feeling they were on the limit like me.

"It worked, my strategy, and I didn't give up, this was a perfect move. Really happy for the team, for all the people who are working for Ducati, because I know how many hours they are working."
Lorenzo: "[I enjoyed] a lot, a lot, has been a spectacular race, a lot of fight at the end, because this time I prefer to be a little bit slower in the beginning, be in third or fourth position and to save a little bit the tyre, to attack at the end - the strategy was okay this time.

"Unfortunately Marc attack me two laps to the end, so this made [it] that Dovi goes away a little bit, because I couldn't make the final attack.

"Anyway, for Ducati it's perfect, this first and second, so we're very happy."
Marquez: "The target of this weekend was to try to increase the advantage in the championship, and we did. We arrive here 46 points [ahead], we go home 49 points. So this is good.

"Today Ducati had a little bit more. Was so difficult to fight against them because they had a really strong acceleration, really strong brake point.

"But okay, they are quite happy, long time without win, but now I'm confident because in this circuit normally we struggle, we've been really close from the top, so will arrive better races."

Lorenzo approaches Dovizioso to shake his hand and exchange a few words, which was not at all guaranteed given what transpired earlier in the weekend:
War of words breaks out between Lorenzo and Dovizioso in MotoGP

Marquez stretches his lead at the top of the standings to 49 points over Valentino Rossi, so he won't be too downbeat at how this has played out.
Jorge Lorenzo had set the fastest lap of the race on the final tour, a 1m56.640s - and that included being passed by and then re-passing Marquez!
Finishing order: 1 Dovizioso; 2 Lorenzo; 3 Marquez; 4 Rossi; 5 Crutchlow; 6 Petrucci; 7 Zarco; 8 Pedrosa; 9 Bautista; 10 Iannone; 11 Rins; 12 Miller; 13 Morbidelli; 14 Syahrin; 15 A Espargaro; 16 Luthi; 17 Nakagami, 18 Abraham, 19 Guintoli; 20 Simeon.
Lorenoz takes second, Marquez is third. Rossi has passed Crutchlow for fourth.
Dovizioso hangs on through the final sequence of corners to win the Czech Republic Grand Prix! Expertly managed. Brilliant.
They're denying each other the chance to fight Dovizioso.
Marquez passes Lorenzo out of Turn 3 and is now with Dovizioso. But Lorenzo returns the favour at Turn 5!
Marquez tries to pass Lorenzo down the inside of Turn 13, but Lorenzo sticks to the outside line and keeps position. Dovizioso is granted a brief reprieve as the final lap kicks off.
Lorenzo is all over Dovizioso, and Marquez is still very much in this, too. This is excellent stuff.
Lorenzo down the inside of Dovizioso at Turn 3, but runs wide yet again, and Dovizioso stays ahead.
Two laps to go. Dovizioso is trying to make a break for it, but the slipstream isn't letting him get away.
Lorenzo and Dovizioso are going at it. Another brief position swap, and another great defensive move by Dovizioso. Marquez will pounce if they're not careful.
Extremely brave from Jorge Lorenzo, passing Marquez at Turn 13 and going down Dovizioso's inside at the very next corner. The Italian stays ahead as Lorenzo runs out wide, but the Ducati 1-2 remains.
Still no attack from Marquez, who it should be noted absolutely does not need to force the issue here, championship-wise.
The three leaders are breaking away, having lapped in the 1m56s range that time by. Game on.
Four laps to go. Dovizioso has looked reasonably comfortable out front, but Marquez is clearly content to bide his time.
Jorge Lorenzo slides up down the inside of Crutchlow at the final corner to retake third. Back in it.
Fastest lap of the race - Alvaro Bautista, 1m56.772s. Bautista's 11th, and the lead pack is clearly not pushing anywhere near the maximum, but that's a superb laptime.
Petrucci in sixth is also not far, and his late-race pace was actually really good in practice - but passing five bikes in six laps is probably not viable.
Dovizioso has been slowing the pace out front somewhat, which has dragged Lorenzo and Rossi back into contention. Crutchlow is getting impatient behind Marquez.
Two-thirds of the race in the books, seven laps to go. It's a three-way fight for victory at the moment.
Lorenzo passes the fading Rossi for fourth, but there's a fair bit of daylight between him and the leading trio.
Crutchlow pounces on Rossi now, for third. His late-race pace was formidable in practice, so he could yet disrupt this customary Marquez - Dovizioso duel.
Running order: 1 Dovizioso; 2 Marquez; 3 Rossi; 4 Crutchlow; 5 Lorenzo; 6 Petrucci; 7 Zarco; 8 Rins; 9 Iannone; 10 Pedrosa; 11 Bautista; 12 Miller; 13 Morbidelli; 14 Syahrin; 15 A Espargaro; 16 Luthi; 17 Nakagami; 18 Abraham; 19 Guintoli; 20 Simeon.
The race passes its halfway point with Dovizioso in the lead. Rossi has arrested the decline for now, but is having to worry about Crutchlow behind him.
Has Rossi arrived at at the cliff? Dovizioso has suddenly made easy work of what was a three-tenths lead, and has retaken first place. Marquez is also through on the Yamaha rider.
Crutchlow pulls off a forceful move on Lorenzo, slightly running the Spaniard off the road - which prompts a head shake from the Ducati man.
There's a six-bike leading group at the moment, with four more riders in the second pack not far behind.

Marquez dives down the inside of Dovizioso for second but the move doesn't come off.
Tito Rabat is off his bike at the side of the track, looks like his Ducati GP17 just gave out.
Marquez senses the threat of a breakaway from the top two and quickly dispatches Lorenzo for third.
This is going extremely well for Rossi, who is now trying to stretch the lead pack. It's come out of nowhere - his race pace was not good at all!
Rossi takes the lead from Dovizioso down the inside at the Turn 5 right-hander.
