Summary

Status: Stopped
it's a 1m18.871s for Kubica that time around.

That brings a premature end to that run for Kubica, his third in a row on the ultra-softs. Kvyat is the only driver who hasn't made it back to the pits.
Red flag with 28 minutes left.
Kubica completes that five-lap run to bring his total for the day to 134.
For comparison, Jolyon Palmer's qualifying effort last Saturday was a 1m18.415s.
As promised, Kubica heads out on ultra-softs for the first time today...
Times with a just over an hour and 15 minutes to go:
1) Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 1m17.124s
2) Lando Norris (McLaren) + 0.770s
3) Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) +1.113s
4) Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso) +1.726s5) Robert Kubica (Renault) +1.828s
6) Lucas Auer (Force India) +2.118s
7) George Russell (Mercedes) +2.375s
8) Pierre Gasly (Red Bull) +3.213s9) Luca Ghiotto (Williams) +3.290s10) Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) +3.332s11) Santino Ferrucci (Haas) +3.670s12) Nikita Mazepin (Force India) +4.453s13) Nobuharu Matsushita (Sauber) +4.874s

Kubica sets a new personal best of 1m19.467s on super-soft tyres, moving him up ahead of Russell and into sixth.

Two hours left of testing at the Hungaroring, and there's been very little change on the timesheets since the lunch break. Vettel's morning best still stands as the day's quickest, with Norris and Raikkonen behind.

Kubica remains seventh behind Sainz, Auer and Russell.

Spin for Mazepin in the final sector there, but the Russian continues and gets the Force India back to the pits.

A reminder of the times as they stand...
1) Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 1m17.124s
2) Lando Norris (McLaren) + 0.770s
3) Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) +1.113s
4) Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso) +1.726s
5) Lucas Auer (Force India) +2.118s
6) George Russell (Mercedes) +2.375s
7) Robert Kubica (Renault) +2.557s
8) Pierre Gasly (Red Bull) +3.213s
9) Luca Ghiotto (Williams) +3.290s
10) Santino Ferrucci (Haas) +3.908s11) Danill Kvyat (Toro Rosso) +4.744s
12) Nobuharu Matsushita (Sauber) +6.009s

And Nikita Mazepin has just gone out in the Force India.

Kubica's long run continues, albeit now in the 1m22s range. 86 laps and counting for the Pole today.

And Kubica heads out for the first time since the lunchbreak.

It looks like Norris is stuck on track in the middle sector, the McLaren junior had gone within 0.770s of Vettel's best time. Anyway, the chequered flag is out, and that means lunchtime.
"That last lap from Kubica was his 68th of the day, just two short of a race distance at the Hungaroring. However, he has clocked up those laps across 10 stints."

An improvement from Toro Rosso's Sainz on those ultra-softs, meanwhile, knocks Kubica back a place to seventh.
Very consistent run this, five consecutive flying laps all in the 1m21s-1m22s range for Kubica.
Here's what Kubica had to say last night ahead of getting his first taste of 2017 F1 machinery:

"It’s a good feeling. It’s something a bit unexpected. The last two months where I have been testing a 2012 car with Renault gave me quite a big boost and somehow I was hoping to get a chance to try a 2017 car and I think to have this opportunity during the official test is something special.

"Renault gave me such a big opportunity to be back in an F1 car after six years in Valencia in June, and again they are giving me a great opportunity to try a 2017 car. In the beginning it will be getting used to all the new stuff and I will make sure I do it as fast as possible while also building gradually without taking too much risk.

"The commitment I want to give to the team not only to give me a chance, but also to use it as a test day for the team. We have some nice and important tests to do on the car so I’m looking forward. I would like to have a comfortable feeling in the car but also see the team happy with the job I have done.

"It's not about laptimes and pace, but the commitment and the feedback I can provide. It will be crucial and I will concentrate to do my best."

Just over 20 minutes to go until the lunchbreak, and Kubica has headed out for his 10th run of the day.
That was a shorter run for Kubica that time, another flirtation with the 1m19s but no personal best. 58 laps complete, and an improvement from Auer is what pushed him down from fifth to sixth in the running order.

In non-Kubica news, Raikkonen has taken over the Ferrari from Vettel and has immediately gone second. In Kubica news, that means the Renault man is now down to fifth.
We also have Lando Norris driving for McLaren today, which is his prize test for winning the 2016 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
