Summary

Status: Stopped
Darren Turner is still buzzing after his victory in the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hours "Still smiling, still grinning. It's been a great couple of weeks after that race. Really nice to come here after such a good event. That last stint by Jonny [Adam], he really put the pressure on the Corvette and pushed it into a mistake...What a great result for Aston Martin and that Vantage. You can tell I'm still very much on a high.”
Damon Hill will follow this hoard of Rolls Royces and Porsches in a Nobel M600 Speedster, in a couple of minutes.

The supercars are doing a timed shootout tomorrow, including the McLaren P1. Right now they seem to be winding the day down with a leisurely evening jaunt up the hill.
So the drifters are back and hopefully their efforts to add some grip to the Goodwood surface haven't gone in vain. Next up are the road-going supercars, the last batches of the day.
Chris 'The Force' Forsberg is first of the drifters to come out. All of them have looked tentative over the weekend. Vaughn Gittin Jr follows in a Ford Mustang but he's more of a crowd pleaser, doing donuts in front of Goodwood House.
Liam Doran, son of Pat, makes a racket in the 800hp Pikes Peak Ford RS200. The 1992 #43 Pontiac Grand Prix NASCAR machine behind him with Bobby Labonte at the wheel just outdoes the Ford.
The Subaru Impreza WRC, with owner Steve Rockingham at the wheel, is making another run up. Steve himself said that the car itself is so popular because it was in so many videogames, and that was part of his decision to re-apply the famous 555 livery.
A sign fell onto the track, probably because of the Kamaz's earlier run. Well, possibly. Should be easy to clear up.
Damon Hill is driving the Noble M600 Speedster right now, but there's an incredibly loud 2017 Audi DTM car behind him with Tom Kristensen at the wheel.
Saloons, Rallycross, Rally cars, NASCAR stock cars and of course, the drifters to cap off this section.
First off is the Kamaz Dakar Truck, which looks like a building but Aryat Mardeev, the driver, is drifting it proficiently. There's grass and dirt everywhere.
Americana is coming back out, including the drifters from earlier today. They were a fan favourite and there is a competition between them on Sunday to decide who becomes the 'Drift Champion'
Mark Higgins comes in at 48.70s in the Subaru WRX STi. That car has been glued to the track every time it goes out.
Anthony Reid is a regular shoot-out competitor, and he sets a time of 49.99s in the Arrinera Hussarya GT3!
David Shaw tops the times with 55.8s in the Eifelland-Cosworth E21.
Next up, pending any timetable amendments, should be the practice shoot-out. This will be one to watch.
50.34s for Nick Heidfeld as he goes for the open-wheel electric record at the Festival of Speed. No doubt he'll have the Mahindra M4Electro below 50s before the weekend is out, which is pretty impressive stuff.
Pierre Gasly screams up in the Red Bull RB7, painted in 2017 colours. No times on the F1 cars of course, but I daresay that one could have been the days fastest...
Pick your moment of cool, Dan Collins in the Lotus-Cosworth 49, with flappy bear ears on his helmet, or Karun Chandhok in the six-wheeled Williams FW08B.
Lee Mowle is in Ayrton Senna's 1985 Lotus-Renault 97T, part of Class 28 "Turbo Era and Beyond". Mark Stewart is in the Tyrrell-Cosworth 006, and Damon Hill in the Tyrrell-Cosworth 003, both of which Sir JYS drove to championship wins in 1973 and '71, respectively.
Up on the Forest Rally Stage times are tumbling as the course is cleared. Changes to the layout could see the record time on that stage broken this year as well.
There wasn't a time given when it happened, but a subsequent check shows that Justin Law put in a 55.26s in the Jaguar XJ220 LM. There'll be a practice shoot-out after the next batch, which should give some early hints to who might top the timing sheets on Sunday. All going well, the overall record might be in danger. But more on that later...
The very smart looking Volstedt-Ford Indycar with a 4.2-litre V8 is on the Hill, driven at the Riverside USAC races by Jim Clark in 1967, his last races in the US.
2017 Le Mans 24 Hours overall podium finisher Alex Brundle heads up in the Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 07, followed by ear-splitting BMW V12 LMR goodness.
A certain Bernard Charles Ecclestone was spotted on the balcony of Goodwood House earlier on. There'll be a special celebration on Sunday to commemorate his life in motorsport.
The most advanced fighter aircraft, the Eurofighter Typhoon, is doing some rather aerobatic manoeuvres in the skies over West Sussex, there are Ferraris on the Hill, and Brian Redman and Michael Dunlop walking around the paddock. Take your pick!
In this Ferrari class is the 375 'Grant Piston Ring Special', which failed to qualify for the 1952 Indianapolis 500, and the 312 B3, which was driven by Clay Regazzoni in 1974. It even has "Regga's" signature on the side.
Class 30 "70 years of Ferrari single-seaters" will take to the Hill for run number two shortly, and if that wasn't enough there's a Typhoon air display due in ten minutes...

In the last batch was three-time BTCC champion Gordon Shedden, but on two-wheels rather than four. He was entrusted with Joey Dunlop's 2000 Formula 1 TT winning Honda VTR1000 SP-1, brought over from by Honda Motor Company for this event.
Motorcycles are now unleashed on the Hill, as Jenny Tinmouth, fastest female around the Isle of Man TT, does some burnouts for the fans.
The W25 took another five championship, and five non-championship Grand Prix wins in 1935, with Rudolf Caracciola winning the European Championship in it.
All clear on the Hill, Alex Larke pumps his fist in the air as he crosses the finish line in the little 1-litre V-twin Morgan Aero, a 1929 Brooklands racer - it achieved a lap of over 100mph on the banking.
The 1923 Delage DH V12 has stopped up near the top of the hill. It has a 10.6-litre V12 engine, and completed a five-mile run at Brooklands of 129.36mph in 1930...

Il Canto degli Italiani is played, a sound familiar to Formula 1 fans of certain age...
This Ferrari 'shark-nose' 156 is actually a replica as the original model was, apparently, crushed. The unmistakable echo of 12 cylinder Ferrari engines is echoing through the Festival right now.
The Lancia D50 is taking the hill quite steadily, followed by Derek Hill in the shark-nosed 156.
