There's still a worry from Ott Tanak. He's not sure if his Fiesta will make it back to service at the end of the stage. Keep an eye on our website for updates on that through the day.

Ogier is up on the roof with Julien Ingrassia! He credits his new team at the stage end.
"I was hoping for this but to have it is amazing. It was not easy. Thanks to the team I know you gave been working so hard. Thank you so much."

OGIER WINS RALLY MONTE CARLO!
The WRC's new era gets underway with an Ogier victory, this time for M-Sport.

Latvala is in and that's an impressive run given the conditions. He's sixth quickest, and takes a podium for Toyota on its return to the WRC.
Head in hands for Tanak and drama at the stopline. Pictures show Malcolm Wilson and the M-Sport team celebrating in the service park.
"It was tough work. We did everything perfect. We need to go."

Tanak is in and he's saved! He holds third! There will be cheers in Cumbria.
That's an incredibly committed and brave run down the Col from Tanak. Kudos.

Ogier's first split is one of the slowest for the 2017 cars so far, so we don't expect him to challenge for the powerstage win, especially given the conditions.
Sordo completes and he's fifth quickest. He's got to beat Tanak by 46.7s to take a podium. The Estonian has engine troubles.
Ogier has joined the stage and that's the lot of our frontrunners.
Breen is in, sixth quickest and 1m52s behind Neuville. In a 2016-spec car, that's a great result for Breen who will finish fifth.
"That was unbelievable, full slicks, I could barely stop at the stopline there. Happy to get to the end of that to be honest."

Breen, Sordo, Tanak and Latvala are all into the stage.
The second splits are all slower than Elfyn Evans, so the current top five could well stay the same here. Currently it's Neuville, Lefebvre, Hanninen, Evans and Mikkelsen.

Tanak is 10.3s down on Dani Sordo at the first split.
Remember, for a podium, Tanak can't drop more than 46.5s to Sordo.

A positive Elfyn Evans reaches stage end.
"This is rallying at its cruellest, we were like bambi on ice! It's tricky.
"We had high hopes for the year but everything is new. Everything has come together quickly. Obviously Friday wasn't our day but afterwards i think we've shown what we can do."

Elfyn Evans gets to the end of the stage. Fastest in the first split, he loses 1m13.7s to Neuville.
Conditions are getting worse.
Conditions are getting worse.
Onboard pictures show Evans' DMACK Fiesta sideways even on the straights. It's scarily slippy up at the top of the Col de Turini.
Mikkelsen completes and took the end of the stage slowly; he finishes 2.3s ahead of Kopecky on the test.
Elfyn Evans was fastest at the first split, but is now 18s behind Thierry Neuville at the second split. That's all the proof you need that conditions have worsened since Neuville went through.
Breen reaches the first split and he's lost six seconds to Neuville. To be expected in the '16-spec car.
Kopecky's team-mate Andreas Mikkelsen, who leads WRC2, is over 14s quicker than Kopecky through the final split.
Kopecky: "We drove carefully. There's a gap big gap in front and behind us."
Kopecky: "We drove carefully. There's a gap big gap in front and behind us."
Kopecky completes the stage a shade under two minutes slower than Neuville. He's taken that easy but brought the Skoda home for a WRC2 podium.
Kopecky is crawling around the stage up at the top of the Col de Turini! He's trying to protect that second place in WRC2.
The first split is dry, so there's still time to be had there. Elfyn Evans has gone fastest there by 2.4s ahead of Neuville at that point.
But it won't matter for Evans if the conditions continue to worsen over the Col.

Lefebvre is in and his final split is telling. He was only 8s behind Neuville at the second split, but concludes the stage 30s slower than Neuville.
There's no doubt that the conditions are getting trickier in Monte Carlo. There's still just under 20 minutes until Ogier even starts the stage, so Neuville could have got the best run at this stage in terms of the conditions.
Neuville is relaxed and thanks his team for the competitive new i20.
"I pushed very hard. When I saw the snow coming I knew it would be difficult. Hopefully it's a good time."
"They've built a great car. I've never had a car like this in Monte Carlo. Thanks to everyone in the team. I think it's promising."

Neuville is in an 55s quicker than Hanninen. That's enough for P1 with only the two drivers through the two stages.
