Summary

Status: Stopped
Thanks for tuning in, see you again in a couple of weeks from Jerez, the first European race of the season.
Marquez is still building that gap, it's up to 5.993s. Lorenzo will be content with second, after crashing out last weekend in Argentina.

Pedrosa has pitted on his no-doubt damaged Honda.
New fastest lap from Marquez. A 2m04.682s, 1.2s faster than Lorenzo that last time around. Dominant.
Vinales makes a move on Espargaro stick through Turns 1 and 2, he is now fourth.
Marquez's advantage is now four seconds, he was seven tenths faster than Lorenzo that last time around.
Notable from that order is that the Aprilias are 10th and 12th, the most-promising showing we have seen so far.

Lap 10 order: Marquez, Lorenzo, Iannone, A. Espargaro, Vinales, Redding, P. Espargaro, Barbera, Pirro, Bradl, Hernandez, Bautista, Laverty, Rabat, Baz, Smith, Pedrosa, Crutchlow.

The Suzukis are 3.7s behind Iannone. It's a fairly spread out top four.
Lorenzo got it done through the sequences of esses in the first sector. But Marquez is already about two seconds up the road.
Lorenzo is now up to second, with a move on Dovizioso.
Vinales is behind Redding, that Suzuki probably doesn't have the power to pass a Ducati down the long straights.

Rossi is on the back of a scooter back to the pits, still manages a wave to some of the fans.
After three laps: Marquez leads Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, A. Espargaro, Iannone, Redding, Vinales, Crutchlow and Smith.
Another fastest lap from Marquez, a 2m04.812s, he's now seven tenths up on Dovizioso.
Rossi lost the front end mid-corner as he closed on Pedrosa. Race over.
Rossi is off at Turn 2!
Marquez sets a new fastest lap as you would expect, a 2m05.021s. He leads by 0.235s.
Pedrosa quickly gets back past on that long back straight, Rossi's Yamaha does not have a lot of straightline speed.
Rossi gets back past Pedrosa at Turn 11.
Baz, who qualified a career-best 12th has fallen at Turn 1, dropping to the back of the pack after rejoining.
Marquez leads Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Espargaro, Pedrosa, Rossi, Iannone, Redding, Crutchlow and Vinales at the end of the first lap.
Espargaro is now fourth, he has moved Pedrosa. He has gone for soft front and rear tyres.
Scratch that, it's Aleix Espargaro who passed Rossi, not Vinales.
Lorenzo looks up the inside of Marquez at Turn 11, but overshoots again. Dovizioso gets past him, Rossi has been passed by Pedrosa and Vinales. He is back to sixth.
Lorenzo won the start, but overshot Turn 1 slightly, passed by Marquez and Rossi, but he does fight back past his team-mate momentarily.

The race is go!
Both Yamaha riders have opted for medium front and rear tyres, Marquez has chosen the soft front.

The riders are away on the warm-up lap.
