When two Formula 1 drivers collide
Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa are not enjoying the best F1 season, and that reflected again in Singapore. Lee McKenzie offers her view on the weekend's events
For a Formula 1 fan, incidents in the race are one of the reasons why the sport is so compelling. This year we've even seen drivers coming together in qualifying. But drivers clashing in the interview area after the race are not something you expect to see.
The Lewis Hamilton vs Felipe Massa row started on Saturday when Massa told me that "Lewis didn't use his mind - again" after the two came close in Q3. Then on Sunday, the two, who seem magnetic, had another meeting. Hamilton lost his wing and got a drive-through for his efforts after Massa got a puncture.
