Pedrosa will not risk wet weather run

Dani Pedrosa has said he will return to action on the final day of MotoGP testing at Jerez in Spain tomorrow only if it is dry

The Repsol Honda rider is still suffering from the hand injury he picked up in his crash in Sepang testing earlier this year.

With him feeling that the wet conditions on Sunday were too risky for him to venture out, he has said he will also sit it out on Monday if the weather has not improved.

"After riding yesterday for the first time since I injured my right hand, the hand was quite swollen and inflamed, so we didn't want to take any further risks going out in the wet today," he explained.

"I will go out again when the track is dry. We have three weeks to go before the first race of the year in Qatar, so I hope the hand will continue to improve so I can work on my physical condition and on bike set-up."
