Pedrosa leads Sepang warm-up

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa continued on from where he left off in qualifying in this morning's warm-up, topping the times by nearly half a second before this afternoon's Malaysian Grand Prix

Earlier in the session, like in qualifying, it looked as though Valentino Rossi would be the rider to top the times, but in the closing minutes Pedrosa went to the top with a time of 2:02.303 before a lap later going four-tenths faster.

Despite setting a time after the session concluded, Rossi's best effort wasn't good enough for second-fastest either, with Shinya Nakano continuing his strong performance this weekend, finishing the session less than a tenth faster than the Italian.

Just behind Rossi was Andrea Dovizioso on his Team Scot Honda, with Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, Ducati's Casey Stoner and Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden in close attendance, all within a second of Pedrosa's time, and less than half a second behind Nakano and Rossi.
