Moto2 championship leader Marc Marquez has been handed a one-minute penalty to be added to his qualifying time for an incident during practice for the Australian Grand Prix

Marquez crashed into the back of Ratthapark Wilairot once the chequered flag had been waved at the end of the morning practice session.
After reviewing the collision, FIM has decided that the Spaniard had ridden in an irresponsible manner and has therefore given Marquez a one-minute penalty that will be added to his qualifying time.
The penalty means the Spanish rider is likely to start from last place on the grid.
Marquez took the championship lead in the previous races and is just one point ahead of Stefan Bradl with three events left.
