Video: Autosport's preview of the 2018 Indianapolis 500

The bumping of James Hinchcliffe, the new 2018 car's challenges, and Danica Patrick's form are among the topics discussed in Autosport's preview of the Indianapolis 500

With Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and its driver Hinchcliffe confirming it will not buy him into the race, the 33-car field for the race has now been set.

And with just Friday's 'Carb Day' short hour-long practice left before Sunday's race, questions still remain over how difficult the 2018 universal aerokit will make overtaking and whether leading the race will be a help or a hindrance.

Starring performances so far from Ed Carpenter Racing, Penske and Patrick are also discussed by Tom Errington and Jack Benyon.
