Time to give Andretti the credit he deserves
For more than 20 years Michael Andretti has been derided as the son who failed to match the achievements of his legendary father Mario. But, as Jeff Olson explains, it's time the former indycar champion driver and team owner got the credit he deserves
Perhaps it's time, once and for all, to give Michael Andretti proper credit. Not for the 42 victories over the course of his indycar racing career or his 1991 championship. Not for his 39 wins, three IndyCar Series titles or two Indianapolis 500 victories as a team owner.
