KV adds Viso to 2010 line-up

EJ Viso has completed a deal to join KV Racing for this year's IndyCar Series

The former HVM driver recently impressed Jimmy Vasser and Kevin Kalkhoven's team in a test at Sebring, and was already pencilled in to run for KV again at Barber Motorsports Park this week. He will line up alongside Takuma Sato at KV.

"We are very excited to have EJ join our driver line-up for 2010," said KV general manager Mark Johnson. "We have been in talks with EJ for quite some time now and successfully tested him at Sebring.

"Over the last two seasons he has impressed both Jimmy and I with his racecraft and growth as a driver. EJ brings IndyCar and oval experience to our team, which will be extremely valuable as we progress through the season."

Viso spent his first two years in IndyCar with HVM, with his best result so far being the fourth place he scored in his second start in the series in St Petersburg two years ago.

"As I have said before KVRT is an outstanding team and I think joining them is the best thing for my racing career right now," Viso said. "I believe the structure KVRT has in place will provide for a very productive 2010 season."
