Enge Hopeful of Quick Return
Panther Racing driver Tomas Enge is hopeful that he will be fit enough for this weekend's IRL race at the Milwaukee Mile, despite having two injured vertebrae

Enge suffered injuries to his T-12 and L-1 vertebra in a crash at last weekend's Nashville race, although neither were fractured as had originally been feared. The crash occurred after a suspension failure caused his Dallara Chevrolet to spin into the Turn One wall early in the race.
Enge will now be re-evaluated this week to determine when he can return.
"I will undergo further checks at the beginning of the week and we will see," the Czech driver said. If it was my decision I would go back to racing now, because we were very quick in the last races and we are hungry for success."
This is the second major crash for Enge this season. He missed the Motegi race in Japan in April after sustaining multiple rib fractures in a qualifying crash.
Enge added: "The impact was really heavy and I immediately felt some pain. The examination fortunately showed no fractures but there are some swellings. I have some pain but it is much better than the broken ribs.
"The car suddenly snapped away on Lap 28 and I was just a passenger. It was a rear suspension failure, but we have not found which exact part of the rear suspension collapsed yet."
