Ryan Hunter-Reay will continue with Andretti Autosport for at least one more race after sponsorship was secured for this weekend's Iowa IndyCar Series round.
The Long Beach winner started the year without the funding for a full campaign, and his drive was only confirmed as far as the last event at Texas Motor Speedway.
But today Andretti Autosport announced that Hunter-Reay would make it to Iowa with backing from the US Ethanol industry, which sponsored his car when he drove for Rahal Letterman Racing in 2007 and '08.
Dave Vander Griend, head of Ethanol firm ICM Inc, said: "We're excited to be back in the IZOD IndyCar Series, and thrilled to renew our relationship with Ryan Hunter-Reay.
"Ryan has demonstrated his tremendous skill on the race track, and is a passionate supporter of the US ethanol industry."
Hunter-Reay is currently sixth in the championship, the highest placed driver from Andretti's four-car line-up.
