Indy Lights unveils new car for 2015 at Indianapolis
The new Dallara IL-15 Indy Lights chassis was unveiled to the public for the first time at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday

The car, which will take to the track in 2015, represents an overdue modernisation for the series, with the current car having been in service since 2002.
Key elements of the new package have been previously confirmed, with engines to be supplied by AER, and teams having already switched to Cooper tyres this season.
The IL-15 will also feature a six-speed paddle-shift system, a 50bhp push-to-pass feature, and drive-by-wire throttle control
"This is an important day in the tremendous history of Indy Lights," said Dan Andersen, owner and CEO of Anderson Promotions, which runs the series.
"Choosing Dallara as our chassis partner for the new Indy Lights car has turned out to be a great decision.
"They have crafted a state-of-the-art race car with the latest technology and safety enhancements which will provide the necessary training as we develop the next crop of IndyCar Series drivers."
The IL-15 was designed in collaboration between Dallara's Italian and US bases. The cars will be assembled in the US facility located next to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Following a shakedown at Varano on July 15, initial testing of the new chassis will be carried out by Conor Daly at Mid-Ohio, with 2012 Lights champion Tristan Vautier having also been drafted into assist with the car's early development.
Meanwhile, Indy Lights has announced that the 2015 champion will be granted an entry into three IndyCar races in 2016, including the Indianapolis 500.
