Indianapolis Indy Lights: Luiz Razia on pole for race two
Luiz Razia will start the second of this weekend's Indy Lights races on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course from pole position
The result makes the Brazilian the series' second maiden pole-winner in two days.
Razia earned the top spot via the 'countback' system that the series uses for double-header weekends, whereby the race two grid is largely determined by each driver's second-fastest lap from race one qualifying.
Grid positions can be improved if a driver manages to post a faster lap than their race two qualifying time during the opening race. However the wet conditions during Friday's contest means that all of Saturday's starting positions are based on qualifying.
Gabby Chaves, who was the sole race one DNF due to an engine failure, will get a chance to salvage his weekend by starting alongside Razia on the front row, while Jack Harvey will share the second row with Friday's polesitter and race-winner Matthew Brabham.
Current points leader Zach Veach will line up fifth.
