AutoClassics partners with 2018 Silverstone Classic

AutoClassics will be the Silverstone Classic's official Online Marketplace Partner for the 2018 event on July 20-22, bringing a large classic cars for sale area to the world's largest historic motorsport event

Appropriately, the 'AutoClassics Marketplace' will be located in the busy infield area adjoining the multitude of car club displays, where more than 10,000 privately-owned classics are showcased over the weekend.

This new area will allow independent classic car dealers and restorers the opportunity to exhibit their specialist skills and standout models from their showroom collections to the 100,000 visitors that Silverstone Classic attracts. To exhibit, email: exhibitors@silverstoneclassic.com.

"AutoClassics is delighted to be the Marketplace Partner at the Silverstone Classic this year," said Ben Caspary, partnership director at AutoClassics.

"As Silverstone Classic draws in such a diversity of crowds and provides something for everyone within the classic car community, it meant it was a perfect partnership.

"AutoClassics is dedicated to providing the most extensive range of classic and historic cars for sale coupled with in-depth coverage across news, events, racing and ownership to fuel our users.

"Being part of the Motorsport Network, and the synergies with Silverstone Classic, enables us to collectively share the passion among all our brands with the fans."

Those sentiments were echoed by event director, Nick Wigley. He said: "The advent of the new AutoClassics Marketplace will provide our visitors not only with yet another appealing attraction but also a terrific chance for them to join the amazing classic car movement should they be so inspired... which it's hard not to be at Silverstone Classic!"

Dealers and restorers interested in taking advantage of the launch of the AutoClassics Marketplace should email: exhibitors@silverstoneclassic.com.

Meanwhile tickets for the 2018 Silverstone Classic are now on sale and must be purchased in advance.

Keeping with the event's widely acclaimed and great value 'access all areas' policy, all tickets include free entrance to both racing paddocks and pit complexes, trackside grandstands and live music concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Adult admittance is from just £45 and considerable savings are on offer for both families and those festival-goers spending the full weekend at Silverstone.

Full details can be found on the official www.silverstoneclassic.com website.
