Three-way fight continues at Spa

The #2 Vitaphone Maserati, currently being driven by Alex Muller, leads from the PK Chevrolet Corvette of Anthony Kumpen. James Ruffier is having his first stint in the Selleslagh Racing Corvette and the trio is spreading out, but all three are covered by around one minute.

The Pheonix Audi that leads G2 is now in a comfortable fourth after the works Nissan GT-R hit suspected engine problems early in the morning. It now holds 18th.

AF Corse continues to lead GT2, but long-time leader the #51 car lost time first with brake pad and oil changes before retiring with a broken gearbox. That leaves the sister Ferrari 430 of Toni Vilander, Gianmaria Bruni, Jaime Melo and Luis Perez Companc three laps ahead of the battle for second between the #56 CRS Racing 430 and the Brixia Racing Porsche 911.

Ford's domination of GT3 took a hit earlier this morning when the second-placed #122 Ford GT went out with engine failure. The #121 machine still leads, but lost half of its nine-lap advantage when Peter Wyss crashed the car during the 17th hour. Second is now held by the Barwell Motorsport Aston Martin DBRS9.
